Pebbles typically consist of pieces of igneous, metamorphic or sedimentary rock that have been worn down through time by water and atmosphere exposure as well as glaciers. as the process is complete, they are smaller than granules (2 to 4 millimeters diameter) however more substantial than cobbles (6-to 64 millimeters in diameter).
Pebble shapes and sizes vary dramatically based upon the geological setting and the process of rock formation, yet can be found all over the globe, but are most often found in sandy beaches and river bed. Pebbles are a key element in preventing coastal erosion and creating habitats for plants and animals alike.
When you collect pebbles, make sure to bring a small container, pencil or pen, paper and notepad for recording each specimen as well as handheld lenses and maybe the hammers and chisels (for the most advanced collection enthusiasts only). Before embarking on this adventure be sure to check the local laws for legality before taking them from beaches.
Felt is a green fabric produced from mating with, compressing and pressing fibers together into fabric strands; which makes it the perfect partner for cozy cafe journaling sessions.
